Generosa Citrus Mix - Premium peat-free mix for potted citrus trees | 2 litres

Generosa Citrus Mix is a free-draining, nutrient-rich, 100% natural substrate engineered specifically for acid-loving, fruiting trees. It contains zero peat and zero synthetic fertilisers.

  • A True Living Mix: Features an active, peat-free biological formula engineered from composted pine bark fines, calcium-buffered coconut coir, and cork granules to ensure long-term structural longevity and root vitality.
  • Active Aeration & Drainage: Imparts exceptional drainage by incorporating premium cork granules as a sustainable perlite alternative. This keeps an outstanding 15–25% Air-Filled Porosity (AFP) to protect woody root systems from waterlogging and suffocation.
  • Biological Root Shield: Infused with natural Insect Frass (BSF Larvae Humus), rich in organic carbon and chitin, which works as a biological engine to stimulate beneficial soil microbes and trigger the plant’s natural immunity (Induced Systemic Resistance) against collar and root rot pathogens.
  • Nutritional Support: Enriched with Dolomitic Limestone to offer gradual, long-term pH stabilisation (target 5.8–6.5) while preventing magnesium deficiency, the main cause of yellowing leaves in containerised citrus.
  • Design & Feel: A highly engineered, beautifully structural matrix designed for containerised citrus trees (lemons, limes, oranges, kumquats, and grapefruits) to live beautifully on your patio, balcony, or indoors by maintaining an even, rot-resistant moisture balance.

Why you should nurture your plants?

Plants don’t just live on light and water!
In the wild, plants can look and reach for nutrients in the soil, but in our homes, they live confined to pots. You will have to take care of them yourself, adding the necessary nutrients so they can grow and stay healthy for many years.
