WHY IS MY HOUSE PLANT LEANING?

WHY IS MY HOUSE PLANT LEANING?

When was the last time you rotated your plants? In order for them to grow in a balanced way, it is important that you rotate your plants periodically.

It is normal for the plant to lean towards the light to maximize the photosynthesis process. If you rotate it, its shape will be more balanced.

On the other hand, your plant can also be leaning as it is literally “stretching” towards the light. This can happen when the place where it is located does not get enough light for it to grow properly.

In these situations, it is normal for thinner, paler and weaker casts to appear. This process is called etiolation. Gradualy move your plant closer to the light so that it can grow well and adapt to the new light conditions.
