WHY ARE MUSHROOMS GROWING IN MY PLANTS' POTTING SOIL?

It is frequent for these mushrooms to appear as the potting soil of your plants is not sterilized and contains a large number of microorganisms that are beneficial and essential to the small plant/soil ecosystem, being proof that such an ecosystem is balanced and healthy.

This type of mushroom is common and harmless to the plant and develops under certain conditions of humidity and temperature, namely, high.

Being harmless to plants, you may not want them. If so, we recommend that you remove them along with some of the potting soil that surrounds them. It is difficult to guarantee that all of them are removed, also because mushrooms are very efficient in their propagation.

Try spreading a little cinnamon over the entire surface of the potting soil, and cover it with our Soil Topper, to try to control its reappearance.
